About me

In the past years I have taken part in many national and international sailing events, from the Giraglia Rolex Cup to winter championships as helmsman. I have sailed over and through the Atlantic, crossed the Equator several times, back and forth on 50' feet boat. In 2007, I bought a boat to race in the “Transat 6.50”, so called because it is exclusively for boats that are only six and a half metres long. In my qualification period, I sailed in many regattas in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. I won the Course de Lions and the Mini Max in 2007. I took one third place and one fourth place in the Grand Prix d’Italie. Overall, since 2007, I have sailed around 15,000 miles on my minitransat. At present I am preparing to take part in the Archipelago Raid. Every year, the Archipelago Raid is organized around Midsummer, when the nights are extremely short in the 60's North latitude. The Scandinavian Islands are the unique arena of the competition. Rocks and islands everywhere, the archipelago is one of the most difficult areas for navigation and gives the possibility to create an exceptional course through the difficulties of wonderful landscapes.
